Garden of Eve

Organic skincare sounds great in concept, but for those who are used to traditional skincare it can sometimes feel like it's underperforming compared to the traditional mass-market and department store brands.  I've tried my fair share of organics and walked away disappointed more than once (gobs of white zinc on your face from an all-natural SPF moisturizer just don't look good, even if they do protect you from the sun without the aid of bad-for-you chemicals).

Occasionally, though, I do come upon something I like a lot.  Garden of Eve Facial Cleansing Nectar is one of those products.

It is very gentle and is especially suited for the winter when anything harsh can strip your skin of its natural oils and make it feel too tight.   It also doesn't leave a film behind making you want to keep rinsing and rinsing and never getting to the feeling of clean.

We are snowed in again and it's bitter cold outside.  A perfect day for curling up on the couch with a hot cup of tea, a warm blanket, and a great book, right?   Wrong in my case.   Have to go to the gym for another workout with the Trainer.
